Loopy Flower Tutorial

I’ve been practicing Loop Stitch a lot recently. I wanted to make a nice birthday present for my friend and I finally finished it today, but haven’t taken any pictures so far. I will do it in coming days and share my loopy happiness with you.

While working on this project a new idea came to my mind. An idea of small loopy flower. And I designed it at once :) Here are instructions and photo tutorial. I really hope you will like it. And use it in your own projects. I think it can be a nice flower brooch with a safety clasp, or just a flower appliqué for clothes, bags… curtains :)
There are few color changes but it is also possible to crochet this flower with one color. It is just me who is addicted to colors so much. New yarn is attached by simply pulling a loop of new color in indicated st and making a ch, which will count as the first sc of the round (unless otherwise is stated in the pattern).

I would recommend to make as small loops as possible. I think mine were too big. I believe this flower could look more beautiful with smaller loop stitches.

You can use a marker to make it easier to follow the stitch count. Insert the stitch counter, or marker, into the top of the last stitch of the round and move it to the last stitch of each new round as crocheting progresses.
