Hello, this is just a short update about my upcoming design. As you might know, I decided to use Scheepjes Metropolis yarn for it.
First, several calm colors were chosen, but after a few trials I decided to stay with just one – a beautiful natural brown shade named Copenhagen. And that’s probably not a surprise, as I have already used the same color in other projects – a Copenhagen Cardigan, for example.
Here are a few sneak peeks for you. Any idea what it will be? While swatching, I have come up with a beautiful textured stitch pattern which is very easy to remember.
I combined it with the mesh fabric and hope you will like the result as much as I do.
The main part of the project was made by Esther Schippers, who kindly suggested her help with the sample making. And just today I added an elegant lace border – to finish.
The project is ready, but needs some blocking before I can show it to the world. So, stay tuned.
