Grinda MAL: Part 4 (English US)

Grinda MAL is slowly moving to its end, and today is week 4 already! Thank you very much for posting pictures of your beautiful creations. Many shawls have been finished already, but I also know that many of you follow the MAL week by week. Today’s Part 4 is about hearts. The hearts symbolizing love for small Grinda island in Stockholm Archipelago.

A visit to Grinda is like stopping the earth from rotating for a little while.

Grinda is a charming destination for the whole family. The island, also a nature reserve, is owned and managed by the Archipelago Foundation. There are nice and child-friendly bathing areas at both the southern and northern steamboat piers. The island also has several beautiful viewpoints. Take a stroll and enjoy the tranquility and nature. Grinda is serviced daily by several ferries. Welcome to Grinda. (sourse - grinda.se)

Grinda island is situated further in the sea, but still not too far for a one-day trip. Depending on the ferry schedule you can get there in just two hours. And then many more hours to enjoy silent walks in the woods and among huge stones, listening to the sea and being just yourself.

  4. Hello,
I've seen images of the finish that has a beautiful lace finish without doing the entire extension - is this option contained in the paid PDF?

  5. Hello, I am working on the Grinda shawl and I really need a stitch county for rows 50, 51, & 52. I am getting two dc's before the corner during the lace stitch row, and the instructions are inferring that there should only be 1 dc before the corner. All my stitch counts up to this part have been correct. Thank you, Colleen

  6. Is there stitch counts listed somewhere? I can't seem to figure it out from the chart. I'm stuck as I must have made a mistake somewhere in row 51 or 52. Help would be super appreciated if possible.
